Siobhan Parkinson was born in Dublin and grew up in Galway and Donegal.
She lives in Dublin and is a full-time writer and editor. She has
published about twenty books for children and young people, including
Sisters -- No Way! (Bisto Bookof the Year 1997) and Something Invisible
(Bisto Honour book 2007). Her most recent book is Dialann Sar-Runda Amy
Ni Chonchuir (awarded a prize at the 2008 Oireachtas na Gaeilge).
